The Estonian company Milrem Robotics has presented a new version of its unmanned combat platform Type-X, equipped with the advanced anti-tank missile MBDA Akeron LP. With a range of up to 8 km, the Akeron LP operates in “fire-and-forget” mode and allows shots from concealed positions, offering a great tactical advantage on the battlefield.
In addition to the new armament, the Type-X also received the RFHunter signal intelligence station, developed by the Cypriot company SignalGeneriX, significantly enhancing its target detection and tracking capability.
The integration was carried out within the framework of the European project MARSEUS (Modular Architecture Solution for EU States), supported by the Ministries of Defense of France, Sweden, Belgium, and Cyprus. The project aims to develop modular and interoperable solutions for autonomous ground vehicles for military use in European Union countries.
